Lipotransfer is a surgery that combines high-definition liposculpture with buttock augmentation using the patient's own processed fat (autologous fat).
Fat transplantation is the autograft of the patient's own fat, removed during liposuction or liposculpture, which increases the volume of the buttocks and/or improves their shape. Any injectable substance other than the patient's own fat is strictly contraindicated.
On the other hand, there are silicone implants, which are similar to breast implants, but stronger and with a special shape that makes them suitable for aesthetically enhancing the buttocks. Patients have these two options, which should be carefully and individually evaluated.
